Frequently asked questions

What should you watch before Avengers: Doomsday?

How long does the watchlist take?

Roughly 42 hours for the 15 official titles. Marathon computes how much you actually have left, subtracting everything you have already ticked.

Do you need to watch the Fox X-Men films?

Disney+ puts X-Men (2000) and X2 (2003) on the list because several of those actors return in Doomsday: Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, James Marsden, Alan Cumming, Rebecca Romijn and Kelsey Grammer.

Why is The Marvels missing from the official list?

It is the omission fans debate most: its post-credits scene sends Monica Rambeau into an alternate universe where she meets Beast. Odyssey 616 adds it back under “The omissions”.

When does Avengers: Doomsday release?

16 December 2026 internationally, 18 December in the United States.
